Advertisements really are the dust of media... the outer skin of companies selling their products and services to an unknowing public. At any moment they sum up the society that they are aimed at; wrapping their juicy nugget of capitalist imperative in a package crafted to play up to their targets' world view. Next week, like dead skin, they are replaced, part of the seemingly endless renewal and re-creation of the company's public identity. Those aimed at doctors, our society's arbiters of life, death and sedation are extremely telling. Look at this for example...
